Morrisville police investigating shooting at townhome

MORRISVILLE, NC (WTVD) -- Morrisville police are investigating a shooting that sent one man to the hospital Sunday.

Authorities told ABC11 officers responded to reports of a gunshot wound in the 200 block of Sutter Gate Lane around 12:01 a.m.

Officers found 47-year-old Steven McRae with a gunshot wound. He was taken to the hospital where he underwent surgery and is listed in stable condition.

There are no suspects at this time but police said the incident was not random. The investigation is ongoing.
