DUMP TRUCK DRIVER HITS POLICE CARS
Investigators in Glenarden, Maryland say the mentally ill driver of a dump truck was apparently off his medication when he plowed into two police cars.
The officers were parked on the side of the road when the driver came by the first time and started shouting at them. They waved him away, but the man drove around the block and smashed into their cruisers - crushing them.
The officers were able to jump out of the way and were not hurt.
BUS CRASHES INTO HOUSE
Another crash involving a bus and a work truck in Albuquerque, New Mexico sent passengers tumbling.
Police say the truck ran a red light and the out-of-control bus slammed into a house.
WHITE OUT
Drivers in Minneapolis, Minnesota had to deal with white out driving conditions Thursday.
Despite the treacherous conditions, many drivers continued their regular routines of going to work or grocery shopping.
DOG EATS $23,000 RINGS
An X-Ray shows the inside of a Tulsa, Oklahoma dog's stomach after it ate two wedding rings worth $23,000.
The pooch had to have surgery to remove the jewelry.
The rings weren't the only objects found in the dog's stomach. The vet pulled out rocks and something that resembled either sticks or bones.
