NC State student charged with statutory rape

RALEIGH -- A North Carolina State University student faced a judge Monday on three counts of statutory rape.
Patrick David Narmi, 21, was told to have no contact with children under the age of 16.
Investigators say Narmi had a relationship with a 15-year-old girl in March and recently tried to contact her on Twitter.
Narmi is from Waxhaw in Union County, but currently lives at a Raleigh address.
He's a rising senior at NC State.
Bond was set at $750,000.
