Official: Trash truck worker pulls gun on co-worker in Holly Springs

HOLLY SPRINGS, N.C. (WTVD) -- A trash truck driver is accused of pointing a gun at a co-worker.

It happened on Wednesday morning on N.C. Highway 55 and Old Smithfield Road in Holly Springs.

Authorities say three employees of a trash company started arguing among themselves as they left the landfill.

They say the driver, 53-year-old Pamela Troublefield, pulled out a gun and one of the passengers jumped out of the truck. He was not injured.

Authorities say Troublefield will face assault charges.
