Over 10,000 stolen guns found in South Carolina home

PAGELAND, S.C. (WTVD) -- Deputies in Chesterfield County in South Carolina seized thousands of stolen guns Friday that were hidden inside a home.

After a receiving a tip, authorities got a search warrant and found over 10,000 guns as well as hundreds of boxes of ammunition and tools.

Brent Nicholson was arrested Saturday in Union County and officials believe he was buying the guns and hoarding them, but not re-selling them.

"It may take two months before we know where they come from. Some we may never know. We may make every effort to return to rightful owner," Chesterfield County Sheriff Jay Brooks said.
