Durham police searching for teen charged with attempted murder

DURHAM (WTVD) -- A teen is facing attempted murder charges, and Durham police are searching for him.

On Friday, police said they needed help locating 17-year-old Jarius Ensley.

Ensley is wanted for a shooting on Ridgeway Avenue earlier this month.

Police said the victim was trying to break up a fight when he was shot.

The victim's injuries were non-life threatening.
