Raleigh police make 14 DWI arrests at weekend checkpoint

RALEIGH (WTVD) -- Police made 14 arrests at DWI checkpoint late Friday into early Saturday morning.

Raleigh police and other law enforcement personnel from Wake County conducted the checkpoint.

The checkpoint was held between 11 p.m. and 2 a.m. in the 10500 block of Falls of Neuse Road.

Police said there were 14 DWI arrests, five drug charges, four driving while license revoked charges, and two DWI-related vehicle seizures.
