Police need help finding Fayetteville robbery suspect

FAYETTEVILLE (WTVD) -- Police are asking for the public's help finding the man they say robbed a Fayetteville business on Aug. 23.

Authorities said 45-year-old Walter Jacobs Davis, Jr. is wanted for the robbery of the Liberty gas station on Rowan Street.

Police responded to the scene just after 6:30 a.m. An investigation revealed Davis forced the clerk into the store and acted as if he had a handgun. Once inside the store, Davis demanded money from the cash register and the safe.

Davis fled the area after taking the money. He is charged with two counts of robbery with a dangerous weapon, kidnapping, and conspiracy to commit robbery with a dangerous weapon.

Detectives also arrested and charged 45-year-old Donna Ann Fischetto with robbery with a dangerous weapon and conspiracy to commit robbery with a dangerous weapon. Fischetto was an employee at the Liberty gas station gas station when the robbery occurred.
