Police searching for suspects in Raleigh shooting

RALEIGH (WTVD) -- Raleigh police are searching for a pair of suspects wanted in connection with an overnight shooting.

Officers said it happened in the 2600 block of New Hope Church Road around 1:30 a.m. Saturday.

Investigators believe it all started when the suspects walked up to a group to rob them. One of the victims reportedly ran away. That's when police said one of the suspects shot the victim.

The victim's identity has not been released, but injuries were said to be non-life threatening.
