Police smash windows to arrest Calif. chase suspect

SAN FERNANDO VALLEY, Calif. (WTVD) -- A suspect led police on a wild chase through San Fernando Valley, Calif., and it was all caught on camera.

The driver of a Chevy Volt was seen weaving through busy intersections and having close-calls with other drivers.

Eventually, LAPD pins the driver in, but not before the suspect crashed into two police cruisers.

Officers smashed two of the car windows to pull the suspect out of the car.

The driver and one officer had to be taken to the hospital.
