RALEIGH (WTVD) -- A raccoon tested positive for rabies after it was killed in a fight with two dogs in Raleigh, police said.
Officers responded to a call on Sunday in the 2800 block of Glen Burnie Drive. The remains of the raccoon were taken to the state lab where tests confirmed it had been rabid.
Police said the two dogs were current on their rabies shots and will receiver boosters.
