Raleigh police investigating shooting that injured man

RALEIGH, North Carolina -- Authorities in Raleigh are investigating a shooting that injured a man early Wednesday morning.

It happened around 1:30 a.m. in the 300 block of Hill Street, near the corner of Lane Street.

Police say the unidentified man suffered non-life-threatening injuries.

Authorities say they are still piecing together the events that led up to the shooting, but say they don't believe the shooting was a random act.
