RALEIGH -- Authorities are searching for a suspect in North Raleigh who jumped from a vehicle after plowing into some small trees late Friday morning.

The Wake County Sheriff's Office brought in a K-9 to help search for at least one person who is on the run in the area of Baileywick Road and Strickland Road.

Raleigh police and the North Carolina Highway Patrol are both searching for an African American man who is about 5'10" tall, with short hair and no shirt.

Images from Chopper11 HD showed a dark-colored sedan with the doors flung open.
