SANFORD, N.C. (WTVD) -- A man is in custody after three people were shot, two of them fatally, in Sanford on Saturday.

Officers responded to the 1400 block of Goldsboro Avenue after a report of shots fired around 3:35 p.m. Saturday. When they arrived, officers found a man had been shot and was lying on the ground outside of the residence.

Other officers went to Central Carolina Hospital where they discovered two additional gunshot victims. Those victims were apparently taken to the hospital in separate personal vehicles from Goldsboro Avenue.

Randy Curtis Kinney, 35, was pronounced dead at the scene. The second victim, 37-year-old Shawn Porter Hooker, died later at the hospital. The third victim, Phillip Rayshaun Graham, 28, was shot in his lower legs and was treated for non-life threatening injuries at UNC Hospitals. All three victims are from Sanford.

On Saturday night, officers tracked down and arrested 18-year-old Namique Shamond Farrow for the murders. Farrow, from Sanford, is charged with two counts of first-degree murder and one count of assault with a deadly weapon with intent to kill.

Farrow is being held at the Lee County Jail under no bond. He will appear in court on Tuesday.
