VIDEO: Woman rescued from dark elevator after earthquake

TAIPEI, Taiwan -- The world turned dark for a woman trapped in an elevator after a magnitude-5.8 earthquake struck the east coast of Taiwan Thursday morning.

However, the New Taipei City Fire Department worked to free her from the elevator. It's unclear how long the woman was inside the enclosed space.

In the video, you can hear her shriek of joy when the doors open and light finally shines in.
