Woman assaulted on NC State trail
Female jogger reported man grabbed her in tunnel but she was able to break free.

RALEIGH (WTVD) -- A woman jogging on N.C. State's Centennial Trail reported a man grabbed her, but she was able to break free Sunday evening.

It happened just east of Capability Drive at the Varsity Drive tunnel just before 6 p.m.

The woman said a white male assaulted her by grabbing her shirt in an attempt to stop her. However, she was able to break free from his grasp.

Police said the intent of the suspect is unknown.

The suspect was described as possibly in his 30s, and was about 5'9" tall. He was wearing a black hoodie with black pants. He was described as having a pale complexion and appeared unshaven.
