Woman finds 8-carat diamond at Arkansas State Park

MURFREESBORO, AR -- A true diamond in the rough was discovered in Arkansas.

A woman found an 8.5 carat white diamond at an Arkansas State Park. Bobbie Oskarson was searching the crater of diamonds state park when she discovered the gem in a mound of dirt.

It's the fifth largest diamond found by a visitor at the park since it opened in 1972. At this time, Oskarson plans to keep the gem.
