Woman hurt in Durham hit-and-run

DURHAM (WTVD) -- Police are investigating a hit-and-run that sent one woman to the hospital.

Officers said the woman was hit by a vehicle around 8:30 p.m. in the Five Points area.

Our crew on the scene said the vehicle sped away from the scene. Medics took the victim to the hospital.

Authorities did not release the woman's identity or her condition.

The investigation is ongoing. No arrests have been made.
