FRESNO, Calif. -- A wildfire burning inside Yosemite National Park has forced evacuations, according officials.

The so-called Meadow Fire has prompted authorities to evacuate Little Yosemite Valley and the backcountry camping area near Half Dome, park spokeswoman Kari Cobb told Action News.

Firefighters had controlled the lightning-caused fire that started several weeks ago, Cobb said. It's burning behind Half Dome and has already charred about 400 acres, officials said.

Firefighters are responding to the area to battle the blaze.
