No one hurt after late-night standoff involving Raleigh police

RALEIGH, N.C. (WTVD) -- An area of Mine Shaft Road was closed for several hours following a standoff between Raleigh police officers and someone inside of a home Saturday night.

The standoff began as a domestic dispute call outside of a home off Mine Shaft Road at 8:30 p.m.

Officers used a megaphone to communicate with someone inside.

The incident ended in the early morning hours when officers entered the residence and took a male into custody.

Police said no one was hurt.
