'Grey's Anatomy' star Patrick Dempsey lists Malibu estate for $14.5 million

Still reeling from the loss of Patrick Dempsey's character on Grey's Anatomy? If you have a few million dollars to spare, you can purchase a piece of McDreamy to call your own: Dempsey's Malibu estate.

Grey's Anatomy star Patrick Dempsey has listed his Frank Gehry-designed Malibu estate for $14.5 million, according to People Magazine. Dempsey and his wife Jillian purchased the home in 2009 for $7 million before filing for divorce this past January.

The home, which was featured in Architectural Digest, was conceived by renowned architect Frank Gehry in the 1960s. The house features an open kitchen, a swimming pool, an outdoor fire pit and a pizza oven.

Dempsey is best known for his performance as Dr. Derek Shepherd, aka "McDreamy," on the hit ABC series Grey's Anatomy. Dempsey's character was unexpectedly killed off in a recent episode. This prompted fans to petition show creator Shonda Rhimes to bring back the beloved character.
