Vehicle hits man walking dog in Fuquay-Varina

FUQUAY-VARINA, N.C. (WTVD) -- A man walking his dog was seriously hurt Saturday when a car plowed into him in Fuquay-Varina.

The North Carolina State Highway Patrol said it happened in the 3200 block of Bent Willow Drive. That's in the West Oaks subdivision.

The dog was rushed to an emergency vet, though the man's condition was not released.

There's been no word on charges against the driver.
