Pedestrian struck and killed on Cumberland Road in Fayetteville

FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. (WTVD) -- The North Carolina Highway Patrol is investigating after a pedestrian was struck and killed Tuesday.

It happened on Cumberland Road in Fayetteville near Carbine Street.

Authorities closed four of the five lanes while investigating. Drivers are advised to avoid the area.
