Pedestrian struck by car on Duke Street in Durham

DURHAM, NC (WTVD) -- A pedestrian was rushed to the hospital Wednesday evening after being hit by a car in Durham.

It happened about 9 p.m. on N. Duke Street at Wisteria Avenue.

The impact of the crash left a dent in the car and a crack in the windshield.

Police said the man was taken to the hospital with what appeared to be non-life-threatening injuries.

Police said they don't plan to file charges against the driver.
