RALEIGH (WTVD) -- A pedestrian has life-threatening injuries after being hit by a car.
Police said it happened just after 9:30 p.m. Friday night near Capital Blvd. and New Hope Road in Raleigh.
According to a wreck report, the female driver said the car in front of her tried to swerve to avoid hitting the pedestrian so she did too but was unable to.
The person was seriously injured and taken to WakeMed.
