Must-See Video: Dogs' hug saves their lives

ATLANTA (WTVD) -- A photo of two shelter dogs hugging in Atlanta, Georgia quickly went viral as they faced euthanization on Monday.

The non-profit charity Angels Among Us Pet Rescue posted the photo of the two dog embracing on their Facebook page with the message:

I'm Kala. This is Keira. We're so scared in here. The people working in the shelters see how scared we are but just told each other that today is our deadline. We have to have someone rescue us or we'll be "next."

The image pulled at the heart strings, and was shared over 10,000 times.

About two hours later, the dogs were rescued.
