GROSSE POINTE SHORES, Michigan (WTVD) -- The driver of a stolen U-Haul led police on an early-morning chase in Michigan that was captured on an officer's dash camera.
With a tire missing and driving on its rim, the truck was leaning to the right as it sped down the highway with sparks flying.
The driver eventually exited the freeway and wound up on a residential street in Grosse Pointe Shores.
That's when a deputy hit the U-Haul causing the driver to lose control. He left the roadway and crashed into a tree before coming to a stop.
The driver and his passenger quickly gave themselves up.
Two state troopers and a deputy suffered injuries.
The driver was charged on multiple felony charges.
