FAYETTEVILLE (WTVD) -- Police have identified the suspect accused of shooting a man at a Fayetteville hotel.
Around 4:15 Friday morning, officers were called to the Rodeway Inn located in the 1900 block of Cedar Creek Road after reports of an armed robbery and shooting.
Reports show that Farron Peter Tilly, 38, broke into the victim's room through a window.
Once inside, Tilly took out a gun, demanded money, and began to assault one of the guests in the room, officers said.

Tilly struck the man in the head with a handgun, shot him in the upper leg, and then fled the scene.
The victim was transported to Cape Fear Valley Medical Center and is listed in serious condition.
Authorities said a female victim, who was present during the incident, was unharmed.
Tilly has not yet been arrested. Detectives are encouraging his family and friends to have him to turn himself in. Police said Tilly should be considered armed and dangerous.
He is being charged with robbery with a dangerous weapon, felony possession of stolen goods, felony assault inflicting serious bodily injury, and attempted robbery with a dangerous weapon.
