President Obama signs kids' absentee notes

CHAPEL HILL, NC (WTVD) -- What better way to get an excused absence from school than have the President sign your excuse note!

That's what NC Representative Graig Meyer's boys got from President Obama Wednesday.

They were with their dad at Obama's rally for Hillary Clinton in Chapel Hill.

One note reads "Please excuse William Meyer from school. He was with me," and is signed by President Obama.

Representative Meyer said his son Mason also got one.
