BOONE, N.C. (WTVD) -- A pregnant woman missing from Salisbury was found alive in Boone Monday afternoon.

Officials say 49-year-old Carrie Bradshaw-Crowther used an ATM card at a CVS and was found by authorities at a gas station a short time later.

Bradshaw-Crowther was taken to the Watauga Medical Center for evaluation. She was last seen on Wednesday, June 3.

Bradshaw-Crowther's adult daughter reported her mother missing on Tuesday, the day she was scheduled to deliver her baby via cesarean section at a Charlotte hospital. Bradshaw-Crowther's family told WSOC-TV in Charlotte that she asked her daughter to get gas and then disappeared from her home before the appointment.

So far there is no word on where she was or why she vanished.
