Surveillance video from Miami Beach shows what happened to a woman as she walked through a parking lot.
A man comes up from behind and tries to snatch her purse.
But the victim refuses to let go and is thrown to the ground and dragged.
The two struggled for a while for the bag, but the man eventually flees empty handed when some Good Samaritans drove up.
SNOWBOARDER'S CLOSE CALL
A man snowboarding on a mountain in Romania had his GoPro camera running when he was caught up in an avalanche.
You see the snow rippling and breaking up around the snowboarder and then he's hit by the avalanche and is covered and tossed around.
Amazingly, he survived the avalanche unharmed.
MAN-MADE GEYSER
It was a wild scene in San Diego when a car hit a fire hydrant Wednesday night.
The resulting geyser of water reached six stories up in the air.
The rush of the water flooded some nearby homes before crews could shut it off.
