Car slams into NC Museum of History in downtown Raleigh

RALEIGH, North Carolina (WTVD) -- A car slammed into the NC Museum of History in downtown Raleigh Friday morning after a collision with another vehicle.

It happened just after 6 a.m. at the intersection of E. Edenton Street and N. Wilmington Street, near S. Salisbury Street and the North Carolina State Capitol building.

Images from the scene showed a Honda Accord crashed into the building, causing front end damage to the car and a big dent in the side of the building.

Details surrounding the crash, and if anyone was injured, have not been released.
