Car strikes vehicles, damages garage in Raleigh

RALEIGH (WTVD) -- A Raleigh family woke up in the middle of the night to find their garage door busted in after a bizarre crash overnight.

It happened on Hardimont Road off St. Albans Drive, near the North Hills area.

It appeared the car sped through several yards before hitting some parked vehicles.

The impact sent them into the garage door, causing damage.

The homeowner told ABC11 that the same thing happened several years ago.

Luckily, everyone was okay.

It is unclear what caused the driver to crash or if any charges have been filed.
