Firefighters busy with two separate blazes in Wake County
A woman had to be rescued from her burning home Sunday afternoon in Raleigh.

WAKE COUNTY, N.C. (WTVD) -- A woman had to be rescued from her burning home Sunday afternoon in Raleigh.



The fire broke out at a home in the 5100 block of Sandlewood Drive, which is near Six Forks Road.



Firefighters found thick smoke when they arrived.



There may be some damage to the back of the house, but no one was injured.



In Garner, a home may be a total loss following a fire.



Firefighters responded to the burning home in the 3400 block of Silver Pine Circle.



At last report, it was unclear if anyone was inside the home at the time of the blaze.
