Raleigh police investigate shooting on South Blount Street

RALEIGH (WTVD) -- Raleigh police are investigating a shooting downtown that left one man injured early Sunday morning.



It happened along South Blount Street around 2:45 a.m.



Officers responded to a call of shots fired.



Authorities say the victim showed up at WakeMed with a gunshot wound to the foot, but they say the victim was not cooperative.



The investigation is ongoing.
