RALEIGH (WTVD) -- Raleigh police and other law enforcement personnel from Wake County conducted a DWI checkpoint early Saturday morning.
The checkpoint was held between 12:30 a.m. and 3 a.m. Saturday in the 600 block of Wade Avenue.
Police said there were 18 DWI arrests, five drug charges, two ABC law violations, and 12 non-alcohol-related traffic violations.
36 law enforcement officers participated in the checking station, which included a mobile alcohol testing station.
