RALEIGH, North Carolina (WTVD) -- Employees at the Amazon Prime Now hub in Raleigh are busy, filling orders with Christmas just four days away.

"You get a great opportunity to see the hustle and bustle here," said Amazon Prime Now Spokesperson Andre Woodson. "The great thing about Prime Now, it's a super-fast delivery."

Amazon promises to deliver your presents in 1 to 2 hours, if you live in the Triangle and order on the Amazon Prime Now app or website.

Toys, electronics and even food fill the shelves of the location on Wolfpack Lane, which holds more than 25,000 Prime Now items.

You'll even see a section with beer and wine. Amazon started delivering beer and wine in the Raleigh area more than a week ago. Woodson said the service is already gaining popularity.

"If you ever run out of ingredients when you're making your famous banana pudding or you don't have that ingredient for a cocktail, we have Amazon Alcohol and we have Amazon Essentials," Woodson said.

And you can still support local businesses.

Chapel Hill-based artist Mary Elizabeth Hining, of Mary Elizabeth Arts, is featuring five holiday gifts on Amazon Prime Now. They include hand-painted glasses and champagne flutes.

"It's just remarkable that I'm able to share my work with so many people in such a short period of time," Hining said. "Most of my business comes from Amazon. I'd say 95 percent at this point. Amazon's really done a great job bringing in customers to my small business because there's so many eyeballs on that website."

But if you want to take advantage of the 1 to 2 hour delivery, you need to pay for an Amazon Prime membership. That will cost you $99 a year. You need to place your order by 9:45 pm December 24th to get it by 11:59 pm Christmas Eve, just in time for Christmas.
