15 students hurt in Edgecombe County school bus crash

MACCLESFIELD, North Carolina (WTVD) -- The Edgecombe County Sheriff's Office say 15 elementary school students were hurt Friday morning when a school bus rolled over near the border with Pitt County.

WCTI-TV reports it happened at 2184 Stallings Road, not far from where the road intersects with Edgewood Church Road.

All of the injuries are minor or non-life threatening. The cause of the crash is under investigation.
