Man shot in Johnston County

CLAYTON, North Carolina (WTVD) -- A man is in the hospital Sunday night after deputies said he was shot multiple times.

The incident happened around 10 p.m. in the 2000 block of Woodside Drive near Clayton.

Johnston County Sheriff's Office and Johnston County EMS responded to the scene.

Authorities have not released the victim's identity or the severity of his injuries.
