Man found shot in the chest near Fayetteville shopping center; 2 arrested

FAYETTEVILLE, North Carolina (WTVD) -- Authorities in Fayetteville are investigating a shooting after a man was found shot in the chest near a shopping center.

Police were called around 3 a.m. to the 700 block of Elm Street about shots being fired.

When they arrived they found 28-year-old Christopher Corbin on the ground near Eutaw Village Shopping Center, off Bragg Boulevard.

He was taken to Cape Fear Medical Center with life-threatening injuries.

Authorities said 19-year-old Ricardo Crespo and 18-year-old Andrea Moses were detained by police down the road at the Sycamore Shopping Center at 3450 Bragg Boulevard.

Police said they consider the area a second crime scene.

Fayetteville Police are still investigating the shooting.
