2 vehicles hit by gunfire near I-40 in Raleigh

RALEIGH (WTVD) -- Raleigh police are investigating after receiving several reports of shots fired near Interstate 40 at Rock Quarry Road Wednesday night.

Police said it appeared that someone fired shots from a vehicle.

At least two cars were hit by a bullet. One had a woman and child inside, but no one was injured.

At last report, police had no suspects.
