RALEIGH (WTVD) -- Raleigh police are investigating a shooting that prompted authorities to shut down part of New Bern Avenue early Friday morning.
The incident happened around 6:30 a.m. in the 3900 block of New Bern near Corporation Pkwy.
Police said that the shooting happened outside a nearby Circle K store during an argument that escalated. The store was not robbed.
According to officials, a man was shot in the leg and taken to WakeMed with a non-life threatening injury.
Investigators said they want to talk to five people seen in surveillance pictures who they said may have information about the incident.
