Two men were found shot in a car which crashed onto railroad tracks

GOLDSBORO, N.C. (WTVD) -- Two men were found shot and one of them was killed on train tracks in Goldsboro on Saturday.



Police responded to a call around 12:30 a.m. at the intersection of Royall Avenue and North Herman Street.



When officers arrived, they found a vehicle on the train tracks. It had crashed into the tracks and come to rest on the rails.



The two men in the vehicle had gunshot wounds, according to authorities. The driver, Tyron Kasheem Jones, 25, from Goldsboro was pronounced dead at the scene.



Police said the man in the passenger seat was 21-year-old Robert Lee Cole from Goldsboro. He was taken to Vident Medical Center in Greenville, N.C. and is listed in critical condition.
