Suspect arrested, 4 more wanted in Wayne Co shooting

DUDLEY, N.C. (WTVD) -- The Wayne County Sheriff's Office said two people were shot, killing one in Dudley on Jan. 9.

Carlos Cesar Vasquez Luna, 47, was pronounced dead at the scene while Alfred Garcias, 25, was taken to Wayne Memorial Hospital before being taken to Vidant Hospital.

Deputies arrested Jennele Lea Howard Wall, 35, on Wednesday and charged her with first degree murder, attempted first degree murder, attempted armed robbery, and first degree burglary. She was taken to the Wayne County Detention Center under no bond.

Authorities secured warrants for another suspect on Friday, 41-year-old Montrel Allen of Goldsboro.

Deputies are also searching for three other suspects. They released a photo from a surveillance camera of one of them and are asking for the public's help to identify him.
