Snowball Express makes stop in Fayetteville
They were flown to Dallas

FAYETTEVILLE (WTVD) -- The Snowball Express made a stop in Fayetteville Sunday morning to pick up 90 children and spouses of fallen military heroes.

They were flown to Dallas where they met with more than 1,800 military families from all over the world.

The attendees saw knight jousting at Medieval Times and were treated to a performance from actor Gary Sinise.

There will also be a 'Walk of Gratitude' to honor and remember those who have fallen.

The Snowball Express returns to Fayetteville Thursday.

Since 2006, the group has been dedicated to giving these vacations to families of soldiers killed since 9/11.
