Durham first responders honored

DURHAM (WTVD) -- The people who help us in accidents or medical emergencies got special recognition in Durham Friday morning.

On the 14th anniversary of the Sept. 11th terrorist attacks, first responders were honored with an appreciation breakfast at the Durham Convention Center.

The greater Durham Chamber of Commerce hosted the annual First Responders Appreciation Breakfast. The event honors first responders and shows gratitude for those who put their lives on the line for us every day.
