UNC celebrates win over Duke
Fans came out on Franklin Street to celebrate the Tar Heels big win

CHAPEL HILL (WTVD) -- Tar Heel fans flocked to Franklin Street immediately after beating their archrivals, the Duke Blue Devils, Saturday night.

Thousands came out to rejoice in what has become a tradition of storming downtown and lighting bonfires. Police had streets in downtown Chapel Hill blocked off for the crowd.

Fans came out waving flags and showing their Carolina pride.

"Epic. Epic game, it was incredible," said UNC student Luke Barker. "We played great defense. I'm so happy with the team. Our performance was great."

Carolina dominated the Blue Devils on the glass, which was a big part of their win. The Tar Heels led by 8 at halftime and after a hard fought second half won by 6.
