With all the uncertainty surrounding the San Antonio Spurs' offseason plans, one thing is certain: As free agency kicks off at 12:01 a.m. Wednesday, coach Gregg Popovich won't lose any sleep over the process.

"I'm not calling anyone at midnight," Popovich told the San Antonio Express-News on Monday. "I'll be in bed. And if that's the difference in someone coming or not coming, then I don't want them."

While early speculation has the Spurs looking like strong contenders to pry LaMarcus Aldridgefrom the Portland Trail Blazers and a list of suitors including the Lakers, Rockets, Mavericks, Suns and Raptors, San Antonio also has to figure out how to proceed with 10 free agents of its own.

While Tim Duncan and to a lesser extent Manu Ginobili seem more likely to return than retire, the Spurs still have decisions to make on key pieces like restricted free agent Kawhi Leonard, whom they have targeted as a top priority to retain, and starting shooting guard Danny Green, an unrestricted free agent who will draw interest from multiple teams.

But if any of San Antonio's targets hopes to be wooed by Popovich, he should rest easy until the sun comes up on Wednesday.
