RALEIGH (WTVD) -- On the day when twins Cody Martin and Caleb Martin publicly announced their decision to transfer from the N.C. State basketball program, another Wolfpack player has decided to test other pastures as well.

N.C. State power forward Abdul-Malik Abu will declare for the NBA draft, according to ESPN basketball insider Jeff Goodman.

Abu will not hire an agent, according to Goodman, which means he would remain eligible to return to the Wolfpack.

Abu was the Wolfpack's most reliable inside player this season. The 6-8, 240-pound sophomore forward from Boston averaged 12.9 points and 8.8 rebounds in the 2015-2016 season.

On Tuesday, State's first-team All-ACC point guard Anthony "Cat" Barber declared his intentions to enter the NBA draft.
