CHARLOTTE (WTVD) -- Each week the football experts at ESPN rank the 32 NFL teams. Since week 2 of the NFL season, the New England Patriots have been in the top spot.

Not anymore. After the Patriots loss Sunday night to the Broncos, the Panthers at 11-0 are now the last remaining undefeated team in the league.

The Panthers rolled past the Cowboys on Thanksgiving night, a game many said would be their first loss.

They've claimed the top spot for the first time in the history of the ESPN rankings.

New England moved to 2, and the Broncos remained at 3.

The Panthers play the Saints on Sunday, which are ranked 22 at 4-7.
